Found a pattern

Found my next knit

I am going to knit textured squares mohair shawl. You can find the pattern in Knitted Shawls, Stoles, & Scarves, by Nancie M. Wiseman. The pattern calls for cast-on different section, and a  bind off I have never done. This is an easy knit, or it is suppose to be one.

Sometimes easy patterns are harder to make the harder patterns. Is that strange or what?

The new bind off

(amazement music)

It is called partial-row bind off. It is surprising that I didn’t come across sooner. This type of bind off is meant for lace and textured knits, which I love to do. Okay, texture knits, but lace are not my cup of tea. Then again shawls are not my favorite thing to knit. Hmm. There are cables I can do.

How to do partial-row bind off

(educational music playing)

You knit two stitch together. Now the stitches should be on the right needle, unless you are a lefty and knit left, then it would be on left. Put that stitch back on the left needle, right if you are a lefty. Continue this pattern until the last stitch. Some patterns tell you to do something special to the last stitch. The pattern doesn’t tell me anything special with the last stitch.

We will see what happens. I just have to get my yarn.

Now for NaBloPoMo

Sometimes I listen to music as I write. This post I did, but I wasn’t really listening to music. It was really background noise. (I spelled nose instead of noise, before I edit myself.) I hope that answers the question.

So long

(Ending music)

I have to go now and post my other blog. I have like six, seven if I get my project approve. Oh, I got a new a sound guy, but he is imaginary. The old sound guy died on Halloween. Caused of death remains a mystery.

I am also thinking about doing another give away but have nothing to give away. Maybe another knitting interview. I don’t but I really know. I have to go bye.

I’m amazed, I have to admit. Rarely do I come across a blog that’s both equally educative and entertaining, and without a doubt, you have hit the nail on the head. The issue is an issue that too few men and women are speaking intelligently about. Now i’m very happy that I stumbled across this during my search for something relating to this.
